• Elizabeth Hawley lived at Stanley, West Riding of Yorkshire: husband John killed in a mine in Jan 1799: Elizabeth Hawley with children Elizabeth (aged 10), James (aged 9), Hannah, Rachel and Lydia (infants) now living at Winster with her father in law, 18 Feb 1799
• Fanney Palfreman born at Healam [Halam], Nottinghamshire; removed with her father to North Muskham; after two years her father died: lived at Duckmanton for seven years with her mother, Mary Andrew who married Benjamin Lawrence; since then has been hired in several places, but never for more than a year, 12 Jul 1786 [?]
