| Transcript or Index | The informat[i]on of Anne the wife of Francis Blazdell of Ilkeston in the said Countie carpinter taken upon oath before Anchitell Gray Esq [often spelled Grey, of Risley (1624-1702)] one of his Maiesties Justices of the peace [also MP for Derby] May the tenth day 1666 Who saith about Candelmas last past on Sunday in the morning the cheese that she stole from William Hunte of Ilkeston afores[ai]d Mercer she sould p[ar]te of the said cheese to Mary Curtis the wife of John Curtis of Ilkeston Taylor for some drinke and that shee tould her where shee had stolen the said Cheese Shee further saith that shee sould the other p[ar]te of the cheese to Catherine the wife of James Wats of Ilkeston afores[ai]d husbandman for some drinke and that shee tould her likewise where she had stolen the said Cheese and further saith not |
