Description
Deed of gift by John Claye of Glapwell, yeoman, to John Bacon of Heath, husbandman, his heirs and assigns, of a meadow known as "Grymes Meydow" in the parish of Heath, which Clay acquired from James Hardwick, to hold of the Lord of the fee, with warranty. Dated 6 August 25 year of the reign of Queen Elizabeth. Signed John Claye. Seal missing, with endorsed note of possession and seisin on 25 August [1583].
