Between John Rooth of Stretton in North Wingfield, yeoman, Samuel Rooth of Clay Lane in North Wingfield, yeoman, Benjamin Rooth of Stretton, yeoman and Francis Barker of Clay Lane, yeoman, joint tenants (under a lease and release of 1743 by Henry Thornhill of Chesterfield and Nicholas Twigg of Holme in Bakewell) and William Wilson of Stretton, yeoman, his heirs and assigns, of a farm. house, lands, outbuildings, gardens, woodland, pasture, wells and pews in parish church, to be held in common, and not as joint tenants. Signed and sealed by the five parties.
