Indenture between (1) Sophy Felicité Locker-Lampson, wife of Godfrey Lampson Tennyson Locker-Lampson of Barlborough Hall, Chesterfield, esquire, (2) Smauel le Hunte Hobson of Aston Lodge, Surrey Road, Bournemouth, county of Hants, gentleman, Henry Brailsford of Park Nook near Derby, gentleman, and Thomas Dolling Bolton of 3 Temple Gardens, Temple in the City of London, gentleman (trustees), (3) the Staveley Coal and Iron Company Limited, (4) the Kiveton Park Coal Company Limited, (5) the Equitable Life Assurance Society, registered office in Mansion House Street, City of London, and (6) George Godolphin, Duke of Leeds.
Concerning mines, veins and minerals under two parcels of land, both containing 21 acres 1 rood 3 roods.
Reciting indeture of mortgage dated 26 Nov 1896.
Parchment, 5 pages, with plan between 2rd and 3rd pages showing lands exchanged, also featuring Pebley Inn, Nitticar Hall and Barlborough Pit No. 1.
