Title	Photocopy of minute book for the Doe Lea Emergency Relief Committee for May to Oct 1926

Description	Copy of handwritten minutes. An emergency committee was set up at the instigation of Ault Parish Council to provide food for children of Doe Lea as a result of the General Strike. Its members included Glapwell Colliery officials and safety men. Although the General Strike only lasted nine days in May, coal miners remained on strike for a number of months afterwards.
