Description	Workmen sign to agree to serve the company under the terms of the contract rules and regulations of the colliery. Arranged alphabetically by initial letter of surname, with two sections under each letter, one headed as being for Mapperley Colliery, the other unheaded but meant for Stanley. Columns for surname, Christian name, age, married or single, address, occupation, whether workman qualified to work alone under Section 73 of the Coal Mining Act 1911, whether workman had previously suffered from Miners' Nystagmus, whether workman had prevoiusly suffered from silicosis or pneumokoniosis, signature, date of signing, and witness. Endboards missing.
