Description
Mention is made to the lease from Mr Plumptre for Plumptre Colliery and leases for coal in Milnhay from Mr Thompson. Coloured plan of the River Erewash, early 20th cent. Agreement between William Robert Thompson and the Butterley Company Ltd for land containing the Deep Hard coal seam in Milnhay in the Parish of Heanor, 1911. Copy of the history of the Deep Hard seam whilst it was worked by the Butterley Company, written by their Mining Agent, Henry E. Mitton, early 20th cent. Coloured plan showing the Deep Hard coal seam belonging to Messrs Thompson and Smith at Milnhay, Langley Mill, early 20th cent.
