Description
Relating to a deed of arrangement set up in April 1867 between Thomas Walker and later the trustees of his will and the Butterley Company Ltd. Special mention is made to arrangements for a wayleave for 'foreign' coal found outside the lease boundaries. Copy of the High Court of Justice Chancery Division case about the deceased Thomas Walker's estate and inheritance, relating to leases given to the Butterley Company Ltd, Jun 1906. Coloured plan showing the soft coal worked out of George Walker's Trustees estate at Plumptre Colliery, early 20th cent, 8 chains to 1 inch, 31cm x 44cm.
