With draft deed of appointment between Matthew Platts, Percy Wathey White, Charles White and Edward Fitzwalter Wright about coal in relation to the Butterley Company. Heads of terms between Group Captain H. J. F. Hunter to grant a mining leases in Hartshay, Loscoe, Ripley, Mirey Leys and Whiteley to the Butterley Company, Aug 1938. Final lease agreements for Ripley, Whiteley, Loscoe and Hartshay minerals from H. J. F. Hunter, including corresponding plans, Dec 1938.
