Description
Correspondence relating to part difference compensation at Kirkby, Lowmoor, Denby Hall, Ollerton, New Langley, Ormonde and Langley collieries. At the back are 2 copies of an agreement between the Butterley Company and the Nottinghamshire Miners' Association for the part difference compensation schemes at the Kirkby and Lowmoor collieries, where the workmen were given a set payment based on assumed minimum work and are given a less demanding job as compensation.
