Butterley Company newspaper cuttings book, using old coal stock book (1942-1943)

Description
Only one cutting for 1925 and two for 1927 (on first page); the remainder of the volume is for 1934-1946. There are assorted photographs and non-newpaper items, some belonging to M.F.M. Wright, including the order of the memorial service for Henry Eustace Mitton, 30 Oct 1936. The cuttings have been pasted into a volume of coal stock records, whose information is fully clear for the period weeks ending 13 Jun 1942-13 Mar 1943 for Ormonde, Kirkby, Ollerton and all collieries and weeks ending Jul 1942-13 Mar 1943 for Britain, Ripley, Denby Hall and New Langley collieries; there are columns for tonnages of coal delivered, conumed, closing stock, average consumption over 12 and 4 week periods, and number of weeks supply.
