Description
The Butterley Company had wished to sublet to James Oakes & Co but were unable to due to the agreement made between the Duke of Newcastle and Barber Walker & Co. Includes copy of indenture between Thomas Philip Barber, Duncan MacDonald Forbes and Elizabeth Campbell and the Butterley Company for the purchase of land next to the River Erewash inbetween Codnor Park and Langley Mill, Apr 1904.
