Description	Workmen sign to agree to serve the company under the terms of the contract rules printed at front of volume subject to observance of the Mines Regulation Act 1887. Arranged alphabetically by initial letter of surname. Columns for date, whether workman qualified to work alone or not under General Rule 39, signature or mark of person employed, residence, occupation, married or single (age also entered), and witness. Book originally printed up for Creswell, but changed to Mansfield.
