Custodial History	These items were donated by Barry Joyce, County Planning Department, Derbyshire County Council on 7 Apr 1981. Although there were several other collections donated/deposited by Barry Joyce, these items (all copies) were added to D2100 although they bore no direct connection to the Swarkestone Bridge plans (ref: D2100/1). The records were never catalogued, and were formerly de-accessioned in August 2019, with the copies added to the Local Studies collection.
Further Information	Copies of records held at the Central Records Office, National Coal Board including pages 10 and 11 from the Bolsover Colliery Company letter book, dated Jun 1891 (with a covering letter from the NCB to Barry Joyce, County Planning Department and a photocopied page about the history of Bolsover Colliery School and Village Hall written by Barry Joyce, Jan 1981). The roll includes copies of plans of the school and model village.
