Further Information
Andre Stewart Bradley (1939-2015) was born in Killamarsh and worked as a coal miner at Markham Colliery until his retirement in 1994. He and his wife, Phyllis, were politically active and involved in the miner' strike of 1984-1985. Andre was jailed at Sudbury Prison in 1984 after he cut the power to one of the pits that remained in operation during the strike.
