Brandreth; Jeremiah (1790-1817); Out-of-work stocking maker who lived in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire; beheaded in Derby for treason. He was known as "The Nottingham Captain". He and two of his conspirators were the last people to be beheaded with an axe in Britain. The rising is known as the Pentrich Revolution.
Weightman; George (1792-1865); Transported to Australia after the Pentrich Revolution.
Turner; William (d.1817); Hanged for High treason, aftert taking part in the Pentrich Revolution
Ludlam; Isaac (d.1817); Hanged for high treason, after taking part in the Pentrich Revolution
