BiographyQuamin was a man of African descent who was enslaved at the Grange Hill plantation in Jamaica. Malcolm Laing bought Quamin from William Gray in 1769 and sent him to the Grange Hill, where he was recorded in 1771 and 1777; in 1771 he was recorded as working in the fields.
