History
Agard Street Baptist Chapel opened in 1793. It was demolished in 1876 to make way for the Great Northern Railway extension and the congregation relocated to a new building on Green Hill (later known as Green Lane), built 1879. The Green Lane building was sold to Jubilee Church in Derby in 2025 and the congregation, known as Trinity Baptist Church, continued to meet in the Derby Homes Community Room on Boyer Street.
