Biography	Born on 13 March 1870, Sydney Watson was one of the sons of auctioneer and estate agent William Watson of Alfreton, who founded the firm William Watson and Son. Sydney established his own auctioneer and estate agent practice in Heanor in around 1894. He died in 1944.
