Including a copy of the exhibition catalogue, "Richard Arkwright: Master Spinner", with correspondence, newsletters and other papers relating to the organisation of the festival. Much of the correspondence relates selecting, copying or borrowing suitable original documents to exhibit. Repositories consulted include Sheffield City Libraries (relating to the items from the Bagshawe Collection, later transferred permanently to Derbyshire Record Office as D7676), the parish church of Leigh (Lancashire), Birmingham City Museum and Art Gallery, Joseph Wedgwood and Sons Limited museum and the John Rylands Library (Manchester).
