Description	- Long Close House Liaison Committee, Sep 1979-Dec 1984 The home, known as Long Close Children's Centre on Cemetery Lane in Ripley, opened 29 June 1979 housing nine children by September 1979. The centre closed in November 1984 following committee approval for closure in July 1984.
