Administrative History
Prior built a house and printing works on the land purchased in 1912. The print works are listed under Ernest's name until 1936. The 1941 Kelly's trade directory records the business as Prior Printers. Originally from Buckinghamshire, Prior had moved to Derbyshire by 1901 (he is boarding in Ashbourne at the time of the census).
