Parish of Hazelwood St John the Evangelist
Administrative History
The township of Hazelwood was formerly a part of the parish of Duffield. The church dedicated to St John the Evangelist was built in 1846 and became a separate parish in 1847. The church of St Laurence at Shottle is a chapel of ease built in 1861.
