DescriptionJohn Chatterton, Lichfield, to Francis Agard, one of the queen's council in Ireland at Grange Gorman near Dublin. He and the parson have bargained with Mr Gresley, and Mr Chatterton has paid him £150, for land in [Mavesyn] Ridware. Emphasises the quality of the property, including woods and tenements. Suggests he sell his lands in Co Lincs. Asks him to send a letter of attorney authorising him to take possession of two messuages and a half of two messuages, with all land, meadows and pastures, in Blithbury and Mavesyn Ridware [both Co Staffs], for the use of Agard and his heirs for ever, according to a grant made by Sir William Gresley.
