DescriptionThe Buildings committee (see 1/7/1-4) had become responsible for all county council administrative offices. In 1930, a split was made between architectural services (see 1/39/1-2) and administration. In 1948, the committee became known as County Offices and Registration, absorbing the responsibility for the civil registration service (for earlier minutes see 1/38/1).
