| Description | The leaf of this fan has been painted with a classical scene, possibly including Helen of Troy and Paris kneeling at her feet, with soldiers and female attendants in group. The reverse is painted with brightly coloured flowers on a brown background which is covered in foliage patterns. Labelled 'Fan from Wirksworth', the leaf has been torn and repaired. |
