Distributed by courtesy of British Petroleum; comprising biographical note on Roderic Owen, notice of talk to be given by Roderic Owen entitled "The Fate of Franklin" to be given at the Anchorage Historical and Fine Arts Museum on 16 Aug 1976 (on the 150 anniversary of Prudhoe Bay being discovered and named by Franklin), copies of plates of 7 drawings by Lietenant George Back (as appeared in Franklin's "Second Journey to The Polar Sea"), copies of 3 small charts from Lieutenant Back's rough survey book, photograph of group, including Roderic Owen, at the unveiling of the Franklin Memorial at Prudhoe Bay, and copy of chart of the discoveries of the expedition under the command of Captain Franklin in 1825-1826 compiled by Lieutenant E.N. Kendall, Assistant Surveyor.
