TitlePart of book review from "The Pall Mall Gazette", referring to the Franklin expeditions and Captain McClintock
Date9 May 1889
DescriptionRelating to the book published by Rev. J. Henry Skewes entitled "Sir John Franklin, the true secret of the discovery of his fate: a ‘Revelation’, ‘A little child shall lead them’", making publicly known the claims that the dead spirit of a four-year old child Louisa Coppin, also known as Little Weesy, appeared to her family five months after her death in October 1849 in a bluish light, revealing the position of the lost polar expedition by means "writing on the wall".
The cutting includes other references to Captain Kennedy, Sir R. Murchison and Captain Coffin (should have read Coppin, the father of Louisa Coppin)
