Title
Newspaper cutting from "The Daily Express", on the possible finding of one of the ships on the Franklin expedition
Date
14 Apr 1965
Description
Report by staff reporter from Ottawa, Canada, of two Canadian naval officers, D.J.Kidd and B.F. Ackerman, finding, with the use of a magnetometer, a mass of metal which could have come from one of the ships, off O'Reilly Island near King William Island [believed to be unlikely, possibly a faulty reading of data from 1960s equipment, from visionsnorth.blog].
