DescriptionIn receipt of letter of 3 Feb on the sale of land and disposal of purchase money; his waiting until Lady Franklin's return to England; her disapproval at the purchase of property encumbered with a mortgage at 10% interest; she still lacks information on accounts of Myponga land before and at the time of its sale and purchase of mortgaged land, not having receievd any remittances or explanations; his own inability answer Gowler's enquries without copy of trust accounts; three courses of action open: re-entering of Myponga property under Lady Franklin's deed of gift, remittance to Gell of the purchase money, and conveyance to Gell of a portion of unencumbered land of the same value as the Myponga on his surrendering her deed of gift, or any proposal Gowler may have to bring transaction with the ordinary rules of trust.
