Receipt of letter; portrait still in his possession and hanging at 50 Albemarle Street; he is welcome to coome and see it; it wsa done 'on commission' for his great-grandfather, who had a pleasing habit of acquiring portraits of his authors and friends; he has not compared it with the National Portrait Gallery one.
