| Description | Hindmarsh is obliged to suspend the Colonial Secretary; in an enclosed dispatch Lord Glenelg is informed of the circumstances of the suspension; he is sending it through Franklin, and asks him to send it at the earliest opportunity; he has only heard of the sailing of the Albion to Van Diemen's Land in the last quarter of an hour. Endorsed as Captain Hindmarsh on suspending his Colonial Secretary. |
