Anxious to put his friend Mr McQuoid , High Sheriff of Nwe South Wales, in possession of a note recomending him to his kind offices, should he ever require them; there does not exist a man with more "rigid straightforward integrity" nor a more gentlemanly or amiable man, in whom implicit confidence can be placed.
