DescriptionReports arrival at Cumberland House after a difficult journey from York Factory.  Describes transporting of pemmican and grease to Green Lake.  Lists names of men involved.  Reports limitations of distribution of provisions given that Indians were "at variance."  Records his gratitude to  men with whom he's had contact: lists names and describes their London origins and their length of experience.  Reports that Peter Warren Dease spent the winter at Fort George and gives news of his future travel intentions.  Refers to working under the instruction of James Leith of Cumberland House.
