Transcript or Index
Gower Street,
Tuesday Night.
My Dear Sir,
Mr Kay would not go to Greenwich today, lest it should make him too late for you, and is consequently obliged to go tomorrow. He will not be at home to dinner but if it suits you to drink tea in Gower Street I will meet you there. It will be your only opportunity of seeing him for more than a week, as he leaves town on Thursday morning. I have business of all kinds on my hands for tomorrow, but shall be in Berners Street as I appointed at three oclock till then farewell,
yours affectionately
Eleanor Anne Porden
Our heads are both gone woolgathering I think – but I believe you said 3 Great Marlborough Street.
