Description | He is to leave town that evening, following death of his father on Satruday after only 3 days illness; expresses his own distress and pious resignation of his sisters. Gives news of Vance. Hopes to meet in London before Richardson takes up appointment: wants a discussion before stores are embarked and expedition clothes are made.
