Description | Very sorry to hear of delay in delivery of "Coeur de Lion"; her servant left it at Carlton House on the 11th and not sent on the 13th "on account of the Drawing Room"; she enquired twice the week before and heard he was in the country but had returned to town; she had no doubt that the books had reached his hands immediately; writing to exculpate herself and her publisher from blame; compliments of father. |
