TitleLetter from Arthur Wright to his cousin Eleanor Isabella Gell, accepting request to call on Edward Kay Kendall at St John's College, Cambridge
Date22 Oct 1852
DescriptionHaving come up to Cambidge last night and only just received her letter; he shall be happy to call on Edward Kendall and show him every attention, but Wright's college career is close to its end, so his acquaintance will not be long; he recollects seeing Mrs Kay when in London but not Kendall; he thinks Uncle and Aunt Booth have benefitted from summer sojourn in Lincolnshire, but Clifton will be better for winter quarters. He was reading Mr Gell's address at Colchester when her letter was given to him; he hopes he is well. Supposes she will visit Lincolnshire before she goes to New Zealand. The Arctic news seems satisfactory, but seems only to protract anxious expectations. Regards to Eleanor and Mr Gell.
