| Administrative History | Henrietta Franklin, later Wright (1795-1878) was the 12th child and 7th daughter of Willingham Franklin and his wife Hannah (nee Weekes). She was the sister of the Arctic explorer John Franklin and aunt of Eleanor Isabella Franklin, later Gell. Henrietta married Thomas Bailey Wright (1790-1858) on 5 Aug 1817 at West Keal, Lincolnshire; they had 5 children: Richard Franklin (1819-1887), Harriet (born 1821), Mary (born 1827), Arthur (born 1831), who became Rector of Coningsby, and Alice (born 1832), who married A.A. Barker. |
