Wrangle Vicarage
Dear Eleanor,
We shall be very glad to see you, Mr Gell, Baby, and Nurse at Wrangle next week if I might say what time in the week would be most convenient to us I should suggest the latter part, as most of our family are now occupying a house at the Lea (Skegness) for a fortnight, (this week, and next). I have staid [sic} at home with Harriet and my Husband to receive Ayscoghe Floyer, his young wife, Baby, and Nurse. They are today coming in their way into Derbyshire – to shew their Baby to the Great Uncle and Aunt, is not this a funny thing that two such great relations of diminuitive size should pay their first visit within one week – tho’ I have said the latter end of the week, for I want you here on Sunday, if the earlier part of the week suit you better you must please write to me by return of post. If you take your places from Euston Square through Boston to the Wrangle Station – we will send a carriage to meet you there – if you travel by first class carriage, and remark that you don’t wish to change carriage at Peterboro’. You will not be asked to do so, but at Boston you will have to change the train for the Hull train, the tickets I believe will be marked in Euston Square for Old Leake, and Wrangle station.
In great haste to save the post ever dear Eleanor yours affect.ly
Henrietta Weeks Wright
