Transcript or Index | Wrangle Vicarage Dec.br 17th 1853 My dear Eleanor, Receive my thanks for allowing me to see Mr Gell’s statement . That I may not make my envelope too heavy, I take this morsel of paper as I intend to enclose a copy of the letter I have written to Sophy, after having read her statements with those you so kindly forwarded to my by Clifton. They are very satisfactory documents being official communications from the Adm'y. I have never received either a letter or message from Lady Franklin, since the commencement of this unhappy division. I am sure that both you, and Mr Gell will give me credit for feeling what I have expressed in my letter to Sophy. On any other subject you will find me ready at all times to communicate my sentiments freely. That God Almighty may bless, preserve, and keep you, your Husband, and Children in the coming and every succeeding year of your lives, is the sincere prayer of my dear Eleanor, Your affect.te Aunt Henrietta W. Wright My Husband, and Children beg to unite with me, in love, and good wishes to you all.
Addressed to Mrs J.P. Gell 16 Upper Seymour Street Portman Square London
