Transcript or Index | (in pencil) From Mrs Tennyson Turner June 7 1849 My dear Eleanor If I understand rightly Emmy’s letter I received of yesterday you are by this time no longer Eleanor Franklin but Eleanor Gell. Sincerely do I congratulate you on being joined to one of whom I have heard such great praise. I cannot wish more for your mutual happiness than that you may perform fully the vows you made to one another this day and have all the prayers made for you answered to their greatest extent. I do hope I may some day become acquainted with my new cousin. I should be right glad if any living near us were to fall to him though perhaps you would not [be] quite so pleased to be settled in Lincolnshire. I hope to hear from Emily more of your plans & of the events of this day. Believe me with every possible good wish for your and Mr Gell’s happiness. Your very affectionate con [cousin} Louisa Turner June 7 Wrawby Vicarage Brigg
