Includes a note from the depositor about how Jerome Percival came to know Naoichi Tsuyama D8541/6/5 Christmas card and message from Nawal Safurat, an Egyptian aeronoutical engineer on a placement with Rolls Royce, 1964. D8541/6/6 Letter from Mrs Coombes, Durban, Natal, South Africa to Mrs [Margaret] Percival, Derby regarding entertaining her son Jerome Percival while his troop ship called in at Durban 20 December 1942. Also includes a newspaper cutting from Derby Evening Telegraph regarding Jerome Percival entertaining Mr and Mrs Coombes when they visited Derby in July 1960. D8541/6/7 A letter from Charles Hill, Honorary Secretary of The Anglo-Caribbean Club of Derbyshire writing to Mr and Mrs Percival thanking them for helping in organising a party at Meynell Langley for 30 West Indian children and their parents 1 Oct 1958. Charles Hill wrote "Your tireless efforts in helping to break down mythical barriers that divide some people is a great contribution towards making a better world".
