| Description | Interview carried out in a car. Hiwa Ibrahim is a Kurd and was born in Kurdistan in northern Iraq. He came over to the United Kingdom in 2002. Hiwa Ibrahim left Iraq because there not opportunities for him in Iraq, plus he wanted to escape the repressions of the Saddam Hussein regime, then ruler of Iraq. Hiwa Ibrahim describes the route and methods he used to travel to the United Kingdom.
