Administrative History | Under the 1894 Local Government Act parish meetings were established for all rural parishes, with parish councils established for those with populations over 300. Unlike parish councils with councillors elected to represent the electors, parish meetings consist of all their electors and are therefore an example of direct (rather than representative) democracy. |
Custodial History | These records were deposited by the Clerk to the Little Longstone Parish Meeting in January and September 2019. |
