Description
To lead the uses of a fine for barring entails to be levied by Bernard Lucas of Chesterfield., esq. to Rev. John Wood of Swanwick, clerk, of a capital messuage at Hasland with outbuildings, orchards, etc (1a. 9p) built on part of George Croft with closes at Hasland Green marked on the inclosure map as no.39 (2a. 1r. 30p.) in the tenure of Paul Brailsford, nos. 40 and 41, now called Green Close (1a. 3r. 18p.), no.42 (2a. 1r. 7p.) with the road to the Wyver Crofts, no.43 (1r 21p.) with a dwelling house and buildings thereon (tenant John Roe), no.44 (12p.) in the tenure of Thomas Eastwood, a cottage and gardens etc. (1r. 16p.) (bounds recited) in the tenure of Paul or Thomas Brailsford, the site of a cottage and garden (1r. 1p.) (bounds recited), the site of a cottage and garden (20p) (bounds recited), a cottage and garden (8p.), in the tenure of Thomas Eastwood (bounds recited), a dwelling house and closes known as Nether New Close, Over New Close, Nether Land Croft, Far Land Croft, Near Land Croft, Pit Close, the Lane and Clover Croft (tenants James or Thomas Ray and Elizabeth Ludlam) (43a.), the Wyver Crofts (7a.) in the tenure of Thomas Brailsford, Little Wyver Croft (2 ½ a.), a parcel at Grass Moor, No.48 on the inclosure map (12a. 3r. 38p.) in the tenure of Thomas Ray, Edward Holland and William Wilson a close at Hasland (2r. 16p) on the south side of the turnpike to Chesterfield, a dole lying among the said lands and in the tenure of Sarah Johnson (2r.32p) and a dole on the south of the said turnpike (2r. 13p.) in the tenure of Sarah Johnson to the use of Barnard Lucas in fee simple.
