Description
By Thomas Lucas of Chesterfield, esq., to Thomas Pennington Lucas of Warsop Park, p.Pleasley, gentleman, and Richard Gillet of Chesterfield, banker (his trustee) in consideration of £122 5s. of the north part of a plot of land at Hasland Green being No.42 on the inclosure award, and now divided from the remainder (bounds recited), with the Wiver Croft Road intended to be stopped up and laid to the said plot (2a. 27p.), a cottage and garden (1r. 1p.), now part of the above land (tenant Samuel Higginbotham) and a cottage and garden (20p.), now part of the above lands (tenant Gervase Hall), with covenant for the production of title deeds and schedule of deed 1737-1770.
