Description
Section of Main Shaft. Endorsed with dates along a scale of yards' depth - memorandum in pen alongside one area of the section reads: "Old mines sough level - was a thick day puddled gully skirting the wall on one side which went through to the brook at Millers Green at the side of the bridge over the road and then runs in to the mill dam". With sample letterhead of Blobber Mines Ltd and Derbyshire Mining and Exploration Ltd, and a letter from Bill [Hodson] of Grimsby to Doug [Nash] dated 13 Feb 1968. Thanks him for return of the book and offers to let him have a copy of "the sough survey" when it is complete.
