| Administrative History | Buxton & District U3A Oral History Group was established in 2015 by Anne Rogerson, a History graduate who taught the subject for over 30 years, and has led several Oral History projects. Members of the group include those born in Buxton and nearby, as well as others to who moved to the area for work or in retirement. An average of twelve participants attend each meeting, held twice a month between September and July and usually involve hosting a speaker or facilitating a group discussion with members sharing their memories of a particular topic, which are then recorded. |
